Health Guarantee!

OUR HEALTH GUARANTEE

The kitten/cat is sold as an inside animal only. If the kitten is allowed to go outside or if it is declawed, it will void all health guarantees. The kitten buyer is required to provide spay/neuter confirmation to the breeder or the 2-year health guarantee is voided.

The kitten is guaranteed to be FELV and FIV negative on the date of sale.

The kitten is guaranteed to be free of any internal or external parasites on the date of sale.

The kitten is guaranteed to be in good health at the date of sale, the guarantee covers any viral and/or bacterial diseases or fungal infections, the guarantee extends seven days from the date of sale.

The kitten is guaranteed for two years from the date of sale not to have any genetic or birth defects that would negatively affect its health. If the kitten unfortunately dies within the 2 year guarantee period, a necropsy is required to determine cause of death.

It is suggested but not required, that the new kitten owner have a licensed veterinarian examine the kitten within 5 days after the purchaser receives the kitten.

If, during the guarantee period, the kitten appears ill, it is to be examined by a veterinarian. If the vet determines that the animal is ill and the illness was present prior to the sale, the breeder shall be contacted at once. The breeder shall, upon receipt of a statement from the examining vet that the illness was present prior to the sale, pay the cost of medical treatment up to but not exceeding the purchase price of the kitten.

If the kitten should die from a problem present prior to the sale, the breeder shall refund the purchase price IF IT IS DETERMINED TO BE WARRANTED. The total liability of the breeder shall in no case exceed the total sale price of this contract, less any medical payments that have been refunded to the buyer.

If for any reason the purchaser cannot maintain ownership, the breeder retains “first right of refusal” to regain ownership of the cat/kitten.

Health records will be attached to the final signed sales agreement.

You agree to not give FELV shot to your cat/kitten, EVER! The only shot necessary this year for this kitten/cat is a rabies shot after 4 months of age
